Muslims mark Quds Day worldwide

Massive turnouts on Friday marked World Quds Day worldwide to show an all-out solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine against ongoing Zionists’ crimes.

Despite heavy downpour, thousands of Indian Muslims staged a rally against Israel’s illegal occupation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

Expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine, Indian Muslims sent a clear message condemning Zionists’ ongoing atrocities and their illegal occupation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Indonesian Muslims also waved Palestinian flags during an anti Israel rally marking International Al Quds Day, outside the US Embassy in Jakarta.

The demonstrators also expressed their support to the Palestinians cause and emphasized the liberation of occupied Al-Quds.

Massive protest rallies were also observed in Kashmir too.

The biggest gathering was at historic Grand Mosque of Srinagar where around two hundred thousand people were gathered.

The participants emphasized on the need of early freedom for the occupied Muslim lands including Palestine, in order to restore peace in the world.

Denouncing the state terrorism unleashed by Zionist entity in the occupied Palestine, the Kashmiris said they can feel the pain of their suffering brethren in Gaza and elsewhere.

They also prayed for the speedy liberation of Al-Aqsa and led a massive procession after Friday prayers which passed through various areas of the city.

Similar protests were held in Hassanabad and Sajjad Abad in Srinagar.

Tens of Azerbaijani Muslims on Friday also gathered in front of the Zionist regime’s Embassy in Baku to protest crimes of the regime.

The demonstrators announced their anger against the Zionists and called for closure of the regime’s Embassy in the country.

They chanted “Death to Zionist regime and its supporters”,” Death to criminal occupiers”, “Compromise with the Zionists is doomed to failure”.

The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, in August 1979 declared the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan as the Quds Day, calling for international rallies in support of Palestinians and against Israel.
