Israel image shattered by wars

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast has warned Israel that the Middle East will no longer tolerate acts of aggression in the region.

“The regime is now struggling with internal conflicts and fears the Palestinian resistance movement,” Mehmanparast was quoted by Fars News Agency as saying on Sunday. “The conflict is now inside Israel. If the regime attempts the slightest act of aggression against regional countries, it will receive a crushing response inside Israel.”

“Israel’s image shattered after the siege on Lebanon and Gaza,” the spokesman added.

Mehmanparast went on to link Iran’s central role in the Middle East as well as the international arena to foreign interference in Tehran’s internal affairs.

“If we were a non-influential establishment and had not neared our foreign policy objectives and were not a regional superpower, no one would disturb us, “the spokesman stressed.

Referring to Western ‘soft war’ tactics, Mehmanparast said Iran needs to be prepared to fend off an army that has powerful propaganda apparatus dedicated to “propagating against the establishment, leveling different accusations, inciting public discord, creating misunderstandings between Iranians and the people of neighboring and regional states.”
