President Assad: Some Syrian refugees are “definitely” terrorists

Donald Trump’s recent immigration Executive Order, which attempted to ban citizens from 7 predominantly Muslim countries from entering the USA, triggered widespread outrage.

When asked if some refugees were “aligned with terrorists” in an interview with Yahoo News, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, responded “definitely.”

President Assad went on to say “You can find it on the Net, those terrorists in Syria, holding the machine gun or killing people, they [appear as] peaceful refugees in Europe or in the West.”

He was unable to provide any figures, but he did point out that large-scale, devastating terror attacks can be carried out with by just a few, saying “you don’t need a significant number to commit atrocities.”

President Assad added “So it’s not about the number, it’s about the quality, it’s about the intentions.”
