Lebanese Youths Enter Border Area Banned by UNIFIL since 2006

Lebanese youths severed the barbed fence positioned since 2006 by the UNIFIL troops on the road linking Al-Abbasiyyeh and Al-Wazzani areas and neighboring the Lebanese part of Al-Ghajar town occupied by the Israeli enemy.

The groups of young men, holding the Resistance flags, challenged the unfair UNIFIL decision and crossed into the area.

The move came also in protest of the Israeli renewed occupation of the Lebanese part of Al-Ghajar town. It is worth noting that the Zionist enemy has recently constructed a fence which annexes the Lebanese part to the occupied territories.
