136th Day of Ongoing War: Gaza’s Struggle and ‘israeli’ Losses

For the 136th consecutive day, the Palestinian resistance has steadfastly confronted Zionist aggression in the Gaza Strip, despite ongoing support from the United States for Zionist violent actions against defenseless civilians in the besieged area.

This aggression is facilitated by complicity from Western nations and certain Arab regimes, highlighting the hypocrisy of many who claim to champion human rights and freedoms but remain silent in the face of the suffering endured by the people of Gaza.

Throughout this period, the Palestinian resistance has borne the brunt of the aggression, especially since the commencement of ground operations in Gaza. This has resulted in significant losses in personnel, equipment, and vehicles for the Israeli military, further undermining its credibility and highlighting its failures to achieve any significant military or security advances within the Strip.

The Al-Quds Brigades recently released footage showing their forces, along with the Mujahideen Brigades, engaging enemy soldiers and vehicles east of Jabalia using machine guns, highlighting the ongoing resistance and determination of the Palestinian fighters in the face of overwhelming odds.

Horrifying News

The Zionist occupation forces have continued their campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip, unleashing a barrage of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and indiscriminate fire, resulting in bloody massacres against civilians and horrific crimes in areas under incursion.

This relentless aggression occurs against the backdrop of a catastrophic humanitarian crisis, with over 90% of the population displaced due to the siege.

Reports from Al-Manar correspondents indicate that today, Monday, the occupation aircraft and artillery have intensified their raids and bombardments across various parts of the Gaza Strip, targeting homes, gatherings of displaced persons, and streets, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries.

The Palestinian Information Center has confirmed that occupation aircraft conducted a raid on Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and targeted Hunayn, while occupation artillery bombed the town of al-Qarara in Khan Yunis.

Additionally, an airstrike targeted Al-Jalaa Street in central Gaza City, causing significant destruction in the Intelligence Towers area west of Gaza.

Medical Catastrophe

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has announced the urgent evacuation of 14 patients, including 5 dialysis patients and 3 intensive care patients, from Nasser Medical Complex to hospitals in the southern Gaza Strip.

These efforts, supported by the World Health Organization, are crucial due to the cessation of electrical and oxygen generators, coupled with a lack of essential medical supplies and personnel.

Despite ongoing coordination attempts with international institutions, the Israeli occupation authorities have repeatedly blocked the entry of food supplies, medical equipment, fuel, and generator oil to Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis Governorate.

This blockade, in place for 27 days, has led to severe shortages, with the hospital’s fuel supply nearly depleted and a critical scarcity of food endangering the lives of patients, medical staff, and wounded individuals.

In the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health has reported 13 massacres against families in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 127 martyrs and 205 injured.

Tragically, there are still victims trapped under rubble and on roadsides, with the occupation forces obstructing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them. Since October 7th, the toll of the Israeli aggression on Gaza has reached 28,985 martyrs and 68,883 injured.

IOF Releases Official Figures

The Israeli occupation army has released official figures regarding its human losses since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, until today, February 19, 2024.

According to the occupation army’s data, 574 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war, with 236 soldiers losing their lives since the commencement of the ground incursion into the Gaza Strip on October 27, 2023.

In terms of injuries, a total of 2,928 Israeli soldiers have been wounded, including 1,373 soldiers injured in ground battles with the Palestinian resistance on multiple fronts in Gaza. Among the wounded, 723 soldiers are classified as being in serious condition.

Additionally, 545 Israeli soldiers sustained injuries in what the occupation army describes as operational incidents in Gaza, which include incidents involving armored combat vehicles, combat equipment, weapons, and machine guns.

Currently, 339 Israeli soldiers are still receiving treatment in hospitals for their injuries.

Today, the occupation army confirmed the death of a first sergeant during battles in the southern Gaza Strip. This comes as the Palestinian resistance engages in intense clashes against Israeli forces in Gaza and Khan Yunis.
