Israeli soldier slightly injured by gunfire near Bethlehem

Israeli soldier injured, on Tuesday morning, in a shooting operation at a checkpoint between the Occupied Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

Israeli media sources said that an Israeli soldier was slightly injured by gunfire toward Al “Anfaq” checkpoint between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

Following the shooting, the Israeli army closed the checkpoint and were deployed in the surrounding area causing traffic crisis.

Palestinian sources said that the Israeli patrols stormed the Palestinian homes in Beit Jala west of Bethlehem without reported kidnappings.
