US Ain al-Asad base targeted in fresh drone attack

The Ain al-Asad air base housing US troops in Iraq has reportedly come under a fresh drone attack.

An American official announced that one of the US military bases in Iraq was targeted.

quoting this news, Reuters announced that the “Ain al-Assad” military base located in Iraq came under drone attack.

According to the report, the American official claimed that there were no casualties or material damage as a result of this drone attack on the Ain al-Assad base.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for this attack.

Resistance groups based in Iraq have repeatedly hit US bases on Iraqi and Syrian territories with missiles and drones over the past months in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.

The groups are also outraged at the US military presence in the region, which they see as a source of instability, as well as Washington’s support for the Israeli regime in its ongoing war on Gaza.

Two illegal bases of the United States in Syria were targeted with drones and missiles early on Monday morning.
