Syrian Army captures two towns en route to militant stronghold in northern Hama

Syrian Arab Army took control of two towns in northern Hama after the militant forces retreated towards their strongholds.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian military managed to secure the towns of Mushayrifah and Hasraya after most of Jaysh Al-Izza’s troops retreated last night.

The Syrian Arab Army just needs to capture nearby Zakah in order to take control of the two major roads that lead into the western part of Kafr Zita, which is a Jaysh Al-Izza stronghold.

This area was previously impregnable and a thorn in the Syrian Army’s side as it was a staging point for several attacks by the militant forces.
