Al Saud dynasty on verge of collapse

The Saudi kingdom is a terrorist and Takfiri state from the perspectives of religion, politics and media because of all the wars it has waged in the Middle East region, Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed said in a speech on Monday.

“The regime calls itself the Caliphate state and the Custodian of the Two Holy Shrines and considers any confrontation with it as Kufr (atheism) and Shirk (polytheism),” he stated.

“By adopting such practice and policy, the Al Saud is on the road to collapse,” the Hezbollah official said, adding that “God willing”, the fall of the regime will happen in the not too distant future.

The remarks come as tensions have been soaring between Hezbollah and Saudi Arabia over long-simmering disputes.

In the latest development, Hezbollah supporters briefly blocked roads around Beirut and east Lebanon to protest a short skit broadcast on a Saudi-owned channel poking fun at the secretary-general of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Young men gathered in the southern Beirut suburb of Msharrafieh on Saturday to protest the two-and-a-half-minute skit on MBC’s “WiFi” comedy program showing a man impersonating Nasrallah.

There, they shouted slogans calling for the death of the Saudi royal family and expressing their loyalty to Nasrallah.

The protests quickly spread to other areas around Beirut where some protesters blocked roads with burning tires.

No violence or damage to property was reported during the protests, and all roads around the capital were reopened shortly.
