Al-Zoubi: Terrorism is everyone’s enemy, should be confronted away from political accusations

Minister of Information, Omran al-Zoubi, said that some figures in Lebanon have adopted accusation method after every assassination.

In statements made on Friday, al-Zoubi said that these baseless accusations reveal the connections of these figures with the enemies of the nation, adding that the accusation made by (former Lebanese PM Fouad) Siniora are desperate attempts to hide his role in supporting and funding terrorism in Lebanon and the region and providing safe havens to terrorists, particularly the “Islam State in Iraq and Sham”, “Jabhet al-Nusra”, and the “Islamic Front”, under the patronage of Saad al-Hariri and his kings and princes.

Minister al-Zoubi said that making such accusations stresses that there are forces in Lebanon that have the power in the country and are practicing terrorism in the entire region.

“We want peace and security to the Lebanese people and we call upon all honest persons in Lebanon to stand against terrorism that some Lebanese sides are shielding and protecting,” he said.

Al- Zoubi stressed that terrorism is the enemy of all sides and all the world’s peoples, adding that terrorism must be faced seriously away from the absurd use of political and fruitless accusations.
