An official at the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council said that about 4,000 PKK fighters are being transferred to areas north of Qamishli, near the Turkish border, an excuse that Turkey may claim to intervene militarily.
During a seminar held on Thursday, Baqir Jabr al-Zubaidi said that the fighters were well-trained.
