ISIL terrorists sustained major setbacks in Hasakah as 400 members of the Takfiri group attempted to sneak into the Northeastern city.

According to reports, the Syrian troops pushed back some 400 ISIL terrorists from the district of al-Ghuweiran early on Saturday, killing and injuring scores of them.

The reports added that large groups of the terrorists fled the battlefield as they failed to resist the army’s fire.

The Syrian Armed Forces killed over 60 terrorists following the operation, including a number of foreign fighters from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Libya, Egypt and Tunisia.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
