Syrian Grand Mufti appreciates the attempts of Ayatollah Taskhiri

Grand Mufti of Syria, Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun issued a message and paid tribute to the attempts of the ex-president of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Muhammad Ali Taskhiri in the realm of unity and rapprochement, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The religious Syrian scholar in a message appreciated Ayatollah Taskhiri’s works and activities in continuous decades for increasing unity among Muslims and closing their hearts to each other.
“During continuous decades you did your best to keep unity among Islamic Ummah through abiding by the Islamic values and the holy book of God,” said Sheikh Badreddin Hassoun when he addressed Ayatollah Taskhiri in his message.
The Syrian religious scholar underscored that Ayatollah Taskhiri kept the balance in accomplishing the aims in the realm of unity and tried to keep Muslims far away from sedition and extremism.
The Supreme Mufti of Syria underlined, “I pray God to give you the best awards and keep you steady in fulfilling the Islamic aims.”
Ayatollah Araki holds the position of the Councilor of The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei and also is the Head of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought.
