Syrian Army Foils Terrorists’ Infiltration Attempt from Lebanon

A unit of the armed forces and the borders’ guards forces foiled an armed terrorist group’s infiltration attempt from the Lebanese territories to Syria across the sites of al-Mathoumeh and Halat in Talkalakh countryside in Homs.

An official source told SANA reporter that the infiltration attempt was coincided with shooting fire from the Lebanese side towards the border guards checkpoints on the Syrian side.

The source added that the army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists while the rest fled towards the Lebanese lands.
