Foreign-backed Anti-Government Forces Open Front against Each Other in Syria
One of the largest antigovernment military forces in Syria, known as Free Syrian Army (FSA), has opened a front against opposition troops linked to the Al-Qaeda, an FSA communiqué said on Friday.
The communiqué came after Al-Qaeda militants, fighting on the side of the Syrian opposition killed FSA field commander Mohammed al-Hammami.
As they said in the document, the murder of the eminent member of the FSA command is equal to a declaration of war, the Voice of Russia reported.
The terrorist al-Nusra Front and the Islamic Emirate of Sham and Iraq, both affiliated to the Al-Qaeda, are among the opposition fighting against Bashar al-Assad and government.
