Syria crisis needs diplomatic solution: UN chief

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon says the crisis in Syria requires a diplomatic solution, amid the heightened rhetoric of war against the Middle Eastern country.

Ban also said that the team of chemical weapons inspectors who recently visited sites of gas attacks in Syria “needs time to do its job.”
