Iran is determined to reach a comprehensive nuclear deal with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany, Rouhani said, addressing the participants at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Thursday.

He also underscored Tehran’s readiness to have constructive interaction with the world in various areas, including economic, political and security issues.

“I hereby announce that one of the theoretical and practical priorities of my government is constructive engagement with the world,” Rouhani stated.

He, meantime, underscored that Tehran will continue its peaceful nuclear activities under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Tehran will follow all international regulations over its nuclear energy program, but will not accept any discrimination in that regard and will not give up its nuclear rights, President Rouhani said.

On January 20, Iran and the six powers started the implementation of the historic nuclear deal which the two sides struck in the Swiss city of Geneva on November 24, 2013.

After endorsing the agreement with the world powers, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif underlined that the six world powers have recognized Iran’s enrichment program.

As part of the deal, in exchange for Iran’s confidence-building bid to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities, the six world powers agreed to lift some of the existing sanctions against Tehran.
