Senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahar said Hamas is seeking to strengthen relations with Islamic Republic of Iran and all countries which support Palestine and resistance program.
According to the report of Palestine Information Center, al-Zahar added that Hamas seeks to strengthen relations with all supporters without any conditions. Member of Hamas Politburo, in an interview with Palestinian network of ‘al-Youm’, said that Hamas delegation visit to Iran was positive. He emphasized that strengthening ties should be in direction of helping resistance program.
Hamas delegation left Tehran on Thursday after meetings with Iranian officials. Another member of Hamas Politburo Mohammad Nasr, who was heading Hamas delegation in Iran, told reporters on Tuesday evening that visiting Tehran was in direction of mobilizing abilities of the Islamic Umma to support Palestinians and their fair ideals and brave resistance.
