US-led soldier killed in Afghanistan

A bomb attack has killed a US-led soldier in southern Afghanistan as the foreign death toll in the war-torn country nears two thousand.
The US-led force reported the death on Wednesday without referring to the nationality of the soldier, AFP said.
NATO’s International Security Assistance Force said on Tuesday in a statement that at least nine US-led troops lost their lives in a helicopter crash in the southern province of Zabul.
The Taliban claim they shot the US chopper down.
The latest death bring the toll among the US-led forces in Afghanistan to 531 so far in 2010, making it the deadliest year since the start of the war.
