Jordanian sources revealed that Jordanian authorities granted the Hamas leader Ezzat al-Resheq an urgent permit to enter Jordan in order to bid farewell to his mother who passed away in Amman at dawn Tuesday. Hamas leaders and activists who hold the Jordanian nationality need entry permits in order to enter the country based on an agreement signed by both parties years ago.

In last March, the same authorities granted Khaled Mishaal, Head of Hamas’s Political Bureau, a permit to enter the country in order to visit his sick mother. It is expected that Mishaal is going to arrive to Amman Tuesday evening along with Resheq since both are related by affinity relationship.  Resheq mourned his mother over his personal accounts on the websites of social networks and prayed to Allah to have mercy on her soul.
