Turkish state media sources said the convoy was carrying Free Syrian Army fighters into Jarablus in Syria from Turkey.
Later in the afternoon, smoke rised from an area on the Syrian side of the border.
Turkish troops entered Syria last week and, together with allied Syrian rebels, have pushed to clear both ISIS militants and Kurdish-led forces from the border area around Jerabulus.
