March in Bethlehem to support hunger-strikers in Israeli jails

A march was staged on Monday by Palestinian human rights groups in Bethlehem province in solidarity with the Palestinian hunger-strikers in Israeli jails. A PIC news correspondent said the march, launched by advocates of prisoners’ rights, kicked off from central Bethlehem and reached the city’s northern flashpoints.
Parents and relatives of Palestinian hunger-strikers along with students and ex-prisoners joined the march. Hunger-striking brothers Muhammad and Mahmoud al-Balboul have been starving in Israeli lock-ups for 65 days running. Prisoner Malek al-Kadhi has been on a hunger-strike for the 55th consecutive day.
