Syrian Army captures large parts of East Ghouta
The Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Replublican Guard, backed by the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) and National Defense Forces (NDF), continued their large-scale offensive in the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus on Tuesday, targeting the farms between the key towns of Tal Kurdi and Al-Reyhan.
The Republican Guard and their allies managed to capture most of the farms between Tal Kurdi and Al-Reyha on Tuesday, leaving them only a small distance away from the aforementioned town.
According to an Al-Masdar correspondent in Damascus, the Syrian Armed Forces killed a total of 19 enemy combatants from Jaysh Al-Islam (Army of Islam), while also seizing a large cache of weapons near Tal Kurdi.
As a result of their advance on Tuesday, the Syrian Armed Forces are on the verge of entering Al-Reyhan and cutting off the remaining militants at the key town of Tal Kurdi.
