Terrorists’ Command Centers Destroyed in Syrian Airstrikes in Homs, Hama

 

The Syrian Air Force carried out several combat sorties over ISIL’s movements and positions in the province of Homs and Hama, destroying several command centers.

The army aircraft launched repeated air assaults on ISIL’s movements and concentration centers in the towns and villages of Um Sahriaj, East of al-Tayebeh, Toweinan and Humeimeh near Deir Ezzur’s provincial border with Homs, destroying several command centers, vehicles and military equipment of the terrorists.

Also, the warplanes targeted ISIL’s gathering centers in the villages of al-Khashabiyeh, al-Fasedeh, Abu Habilat, Jani al-Bawi, al-Dakileh Shomali and Salba in Eastern Hama.

Meantime, a military source said that a large number of terrorists were killed and several command centers and military vehicles of ISIL were destroyed in the attacks.

A military source said earlier today that the army troops and popular forces are standing for orders to launch the final battle against ISIL terrorists in Eastern Hama amid dispatch of a large number of fresh army soldiers and a large volume of equipment to the region.

The source said that a large number of fresh army soldiers, including fighters of Dar’a al-Qalamoun, and a large volume of military equipment have been dispatched by the army to the Eastern direction of the town of al-Salamiyah to take part in an imminent large-scale operation in Central Syria.

Meanwhile, the source said that the army units engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL along the oil pipeline, inflicting major casualties on the terrorists.

In the meantime, the Russian and Syrian fighter jets pounded ISIL’s movements in the village of Abu Habilat, Abu Hanaya and Salba in Aqayrabat region, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists.
