Iraqi Forces Liberate 56 Villages in Al-Jazeera Region from ISIL Terrorists

The Iraqi army, the federal police and the Hashed al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) on Thursday began clearing the Al-Jazeera region straddling Salaheddin, Nineveh and Anbar provinces, regaining 4500 out of 26000 square kilometers.

The operation, which liberated 56 villages, left a number of ISIL terrorists dead or injured and a lot of their vehicles destroyed.
