Sunni Cleric: Shia-Sunni unity annihilated Daesh in Syria

Hajj Dolat Qari Najahi, manager of the Sunni seminary in Raz and Jargalan County, Northern Khorasan Province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) said the annihilation of Daesh Takfiri groups was an achievement of Islamic unity and urged for boosting the unity in order to prevent further insecurity among Islamic countries and dividing Muslim communities.

He demanded Muslim rulers to strengthen their ties and prevent more wars, bloodshed and homelessness of the Shia and Sunni in other countries.

The cleric also stressed necessity of settling minor disagreements among Muslims and said,” World arrogant powers are hostile to Shia and Sunni, Qur’an and the holy religion of Islam; hence, Muslims should join hands in order to maintain their peaceful life.”

Manager of Kalateh Bahar seminary highlighted the mission of Muslim clerics in operating unity and foiling dividing plots and said,” certainly it is a responsibility for the Muslim scholars to follow the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) since promoting solidarity was the first measure by the Prophet of Islam after his arrival in Medina.”

According to the cleric alarming the Shia and Sunni Muslims on necessity of solidarity and also preventing division are among the greatest duties of the Muslim scholar” Akhoon Najjahi concluded.
