Head of Iran’s Social Security Organization, Deputy Die in Car Crash

Head of the Social Security Organization of Iran Seyed Taqi Noorbakhsh and his deputy died in a fatal car crash in the country’s northern province of Golestan.

The two officials were pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital on Thursday evening.

In a message of condolence on Thursday night, President Hassan Rouhani expressed deep sympathy over the passing away of the two officials.

The president paid tribute to Noorbakhsh as a committed and hard-working manager who had been serving sincerely in the administration over the past 5 years.
