Clashes in West Bank town after zionist forces block its main entrance

Several Palestinian citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas on Tuesday evening during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at the main entrance to Burqa town, northwest of Nablus.

According to local sources, the clashes started after the IOF blocked the entrance to Burqa and obstructed the movement of local residents and vehicles.

Dozens of citizens and youths suffered from inhaling tear gas during the events.

In a separate incident, Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire last night at an Israeli military post in the east of Nablus.

The Hebrew media said that gunmen opened fire from a speeding car at an Israeli army point located between the settlements of Itamar and Elon Moreh, adding that no one was injured in the shooting incident.

Consequently, the IOF intensified its presence in the area and closed the Beit Furik checkpoint.
