Commander: US, European Naval Forces Avoid Facing Iranian Navy

Commander of the Iranian Army Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said that the American and European naval forces avoid tension with Iran’s Navy thanks to its power and might.

“The power and might of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has increased so high that today the Americans and Europeans avoid facing it,” Rear Admiral Irani said on Wednesday, addressing a ceremony in Northern Iran to introduce the new commander of Imam Khomeini Naval University of Noshahr.

He added that the Navy has tried to carry out missions everywhere in the world with its upgraded military equipment and increasing its defense capability.

Rear Admiral Irani also warned that it necessary to stay vigilant against the conspiracies designed by the enemies.

“Whenever we witnessed victory and success against the enemy’s conspiracies, it became clear that behind this issue was insight, having a correct understanding of the issue, and whenever we were harmed, we realized that insight had been forgotten,” he said.

In relevant remarks in September, Rear Admiral Irani underlined that the country’s Naval Forces are fully prepared to be present and conduct operations at any point in oceans across the globe.

“We are able to carry out our missions in even in stormy ocean environments and thousands of kilometers from our homeland,” Rear Admiral Irani said on the sidelines of a welcoming ceremony held for the return of the 75th Fleet of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army’s Navy 75th Naval Fleet.

“By successful execution of its mission, the 75th Naval Fleet of Army achieved all the predetermined goals. One of our most important goals was to prove to global arrogance that even roaring waters could not stand in our way,” he added.
