Iraqi militants hit an ‘israeli’ target at Haifa Port using drones loaded with explosives

Iraqi anti-terror resistance fighters have conducted a drone attack on a key location in the northern region of the territories occupied by Israel since 1948. This action is in retaliation for the Tel Aviv regime’s destructive campaign in Gaza.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of anti-terror combatants, announced through its Telegram channel on Wednesday morning that it was behind the assault on the Port of Haifa. The group emphasized that the attack was executed using a fleet of kamikaze drones.

The drone strike was executed as part of the ongoing resistance against the occupying Israeli forces, aimed at supporting Palestinians in Gaza. It was also a response to the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime against women, children, and the elderly in the blockaded region.

The group stated that it will persist in aiming at and demolishing key facilities throughout the occupied territories.

This follows a declaration by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, taking responsibility for a drone attack on a “critical target” in the same port last Sunday.

The coalition released a statement at the time declaring that the strike was conducted “to support our people in Gaza and in retaliation for the atrocities perpetrated by the occupying entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.”

Since the beginning of the genocidal conflict in Gaza in early October, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been carrying out assaults on Israeli targets.

It has also been targeting American military bases in Iraq and nearby Syria as a response to Washington’s backing of what it views as Israeli actions against Gaza.

Israel has launched a severe offensive against the Gaza Strip, targeting medical facilities, homes, and places of worship after Palestinian resistance groups initiated a surprise attack known as Operation al-Aqsa Storm on October 7 of last year.

Up to now, at least 40,819 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, have lost their lives, and an additional 94,291 people have been injured in Gaza. Furthermore, over 1.7 million individuals have been forced to relocate within the region due to the ongoing conflict.
