Iran’s President: Operation True Promise II as evidence of ‘israel’s’ Iron Dome being more fragile than glass
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that the Islamic Republic's recent countermeasure, known as Operation True Promise II, has demonstrated the vulnerability of Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system, describing it as "more fragile than glass."

During the weekly cabinet session on Wednesday, Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran is prepared to deliver a more “crushing response” to any further missteps by Israel.
The President of Iran stated that the nation harbors no desire for war, yet remains unafraid of it. He underscored that the Islamic Republic is unwavering in its commitment to safeguarding the security, authority, and dignity of its citizens and its territory, asserting that there are no boundaries in this endeavor.
He stated that the recent retaliatory attack underscores Iran’s unwavering commitment to defending its national honor and pride.
Following the assassination of Martyr Haniyeh in Tehran, deemed a blatant breach of Iran’s sovereignty and national security, the president announced that Western nations urged Tehran to maintain composure. These countries assured the swift establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza.
In a statement, Pezeshkian criticized the Israeli government, accusing it of perpetuating violence against women and children while extending its military actions into Lebanon, all amid alleged silence from Western nations.
In other parts of his statement, Pezeshkian strongly criticized international organizations and Western nations for their alleged double standards and perceived inaction regarding the actions of the Israeli government.
He further stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he referred to as a “criminal,” openly issued threats against Iran during the United Nations General Assembly. This occurred while other nations did not respond to or condemn such actions.
Pezeshkian conveyed optimism that peace and stability would be reestablished in the region, enabling regional nations to free themselves from the grasp of criminals and oppressors.
On Tuesday, Iran launched a series of missile strikes targeting military and intelligence facilities associated with Israel in a retaliatory move, triggering sirens throughout the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a developing situation, flares and missiles have been observed over the skies of Tel Aviv, with explosions resonating in the occupied city of al-Quds. Reports indicate “direct hits” in several areas including Negev, Sharon, and other locations.
The recent military operation was launched as a direct response to the targeted assassinations of key figures, including Hamas’s leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah’s chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Abbas Nilforoushan, a commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
