Zionist media reports indicate that Tel Aviv is in ‘direct contact’ with militants in Syria
Israeli media outlets have disclosed that the Israeli government is engaging in "direct contact" with the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) armed faction in Syria. This group played a leading role in the uprising that resulted in the ousting of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's administration in Damascus.

Israel’s prominent news portal, Walla, reported on Sunday that Tel Aviv maintains both “direct and indirect contact” with various factions in Syria, including Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). The report noted that Israel’s current strategy involves preventing these armed groups from nearing the border between Syria and the territories under Israeli control.
In a recent development, Israeli forces initiated an incursion into Syrian territory, advancing into the southwestern city of Quneitra, which lies in proximity to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, following the seizure of control by militant factions within Syria.
Reports from the regime’s media outlets have confirmed the movement of Israeli tanks into the vicinity of Khan Arnabeh, a location situated northeast of Quneitra, approximately five kilometers from the boundary of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
Occupation forces have reportedly begun excavation of a significant trench along the Syrian border, while simultaneously demolishing structures they allege were used as weapons depots.
Earlier today, Syrian militant factions launched a raid on the capital, Damascus, successfully seizing control of the city’s radio and television station, along with key military and security facilities.
Armed factions spearheaded by HTS militants officially declared their complete takeover of the Syrian capital, corroborating reports regarding the collapse of the Assad regime.
HTS leader Ahmed al-Shar’a, widely recognized as Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, has urged Syrians to avoid government institutions and entities until a formal handover of power is conducted under the oversight of Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Ghazi Jalali. Jalali stated that the government is prepared to “extend its hand” to the opposition and transfer its duties to a transitional government.
