Houthi forces claim Yemen’s deployment of hypersonic missiles has taken adversaries by surprise
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, has described the country's deployment of hypersonic missiles towards Israeli targets as a significant milestone, claiming that the move has taken their adversaries by surprise.

In a televised address on Thursday evening, a representative of the Houthi group declared that Yemen’s recent supersonic missile operation, which successfully breached enemy defense systems, represents a significant achievement. The spokesperson emphasized that both adversary forces and the United States are cognizant of this development.
The launch of hypersonic missiles has reportedly led to significant disappointment within the political and security spheres of both Israel and the United States, according to statements from officials.
A missile launched from Yemen in the early hours of Wednesday set off air raid sirens throughout central areas of Israeli-occupied territories, prompting millions of settlers to seek shelter for the second consecutive night.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, a military spokesperson, announced that a recent operation utilized a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile to target an Israeli military installation in Tel Aviv.
For the fourth time in a week, rocket fire originating from Yemen triggered warning sirens across Israeli settlements. On Saturday, a missile struck Tel Aviv, resulting in injuries to 16 individuals. This incident occurred after Israel’s highly acclaimed air defense system was unsuccessful in intercepting the projectile.
On Thursday, Houthi representatives stated that Israel expressed surprise and a sense of despair over the rapid developments in military operations on the Yemen front.
A spokesperson stated that despite the adversary’s claims of gaining momentum, they were taken by surprise by ongoing operations on the Yemeni front. He further asserted that Israel lacks the capability to confront them effectively.
Eilat Port Temporarily Ceases Operations
Houthi forces have reportedly targeted vessels with Israeli connections in the Red Sea, resulting in significant disruptions to maritime routes. This situation has compelled many ships to bypass the traditional channels and instead reroute around the Cape of Good Hope, thus prolonging their voyages by as much as three weeks.
Leading multinational shipping companies, including Denmark’s Maersk, Germany’s Hapag-Lloyd, France’s CMA CGM, and Italy-Switzerland’s Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), have halted their operations through the Red Sea. This decision has resulted in the suspension of activity at the Eilat port, located at the southern extremity of the Israeli-controlled territories.
“The adversary is aware that our ongoing naval operations are poised to exert a considerable effect on their economic circumstances.”
Houthi officials have stated that adversaries acknowledge their inability to confront Yemen’s resilience, attributing the nation’s strength to its foundation in faith, knowledge, and insight.
“The media and officials of the adversary have conceded defeat, acknowledging that the port of Eilat is currently deserted and non-operational,” he stated.
The Houthi movement reported that Israel’s financial market indices and national currency experienced a significant decline following a recent missile strike targeting the southern suburb of Tel Aviv, Jaffa, last week.
**”Truman Carrier Strike Group Withdraws Following Yemeni Mission”**
In recent developments, the Truman Carrier Strike Group has reportedly retreated after a strategic operation in Yemen. Details of the mission remain under scrutiny, with analysts suggesting various tactical motivations behind the group’s movement.
Houthi forces have claimed involvement in a significant Yemeni operation targeting the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, which was reportedly poised to initiate a large-scale military action against Yemen.
A spokesperson claimed that a vessel approached Yemeni waters closely enough to potentially engage in hostile activities against the nation. However, they criticized the United States for what they termed as an ineffective operational response, stating it merely involved limited firing that led to the death of several Yemeni citizens.
The recent targeting marked the fourth instance involving the American vessel, representing a significant, audacious, and formidable action unprecedented against aircraft carriers since the conclusion of World War II.
He added that the assault on the warship led to the downing of an American F-18 jet, a critical and costly asset in the nation’s fighter fleet.
The Houthi group has claimed that the US military’s admission of accidentally downing an F/A-18 Super Hornet jet over the Red Sea highlights its alleged failures, incapability, and confusion.
Recent Western reports and analyses suggest that the assault on the American naval vessel has fundamentally altered the strategic principles and tactics associated with naval warfare. The incident demonstrates that such ships can no longer be considered as solely effective deterrents, as evidenced by the retreat of the Truman strike group, which had to reposition itself over 1,500 kilometers from Yemeni ports.
**Israel Allegedly Aiming for Control Over Syria’s Water Sources**
Houthi has raised concerns regarding Israel’s occupation of new territories in Syria following the removal of President Bashar al-Assad, asserting that the Israeli regime is aiming to exert control over the Arab nation’s water resources.
Jordanians will now be required to pay fees to the Israeli authorities in order to access water resources. Consequently, Israel plans to assume control over the Jordan River, allowing it to leverage the river’s water supply for financial gain.
According to a statement, Israel is further extending its territorial control in Syria, with reports indicating that it has already taken control of nearly 95% of Al Quneitra province. The nation is reportedly progressing towards capturing areas in Dara’a and the southern regions of Damascus.
In recent events, Houthi has highlighted a series of attacks carried out by Israeli forces on Syrian village populations, notably in Maariyah, located in the Dara’a region. This includes an incident where a Syrian protester sustained injuries after being shot during a demonstration opposing the Israeli military presence.
“Reports have emerged alleging that Zionist groups are seeking to disarm local populations in the area as part of their broader strategic objectives. It has been claimed that the residents of these villages have experienced acts of aggression purportedly carried out by these groups.”
**Ceasefire with Lebanon Breached**
He added that Israel is attempting to project an image of success in Lebanon, particularly after unsuccessful efforts to dismantle Hezbollah, as evidenced by ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.
On Thursday, the Lebanese military reported that Israeli forces conducted a significant incursion into areas of southern Lebanon, allegedly breaching the ceasefire agreement established on November 27. During this operation, the forces reportedly abducted a Lebanese national.
According to recent reports, over 300 incidents involving Israeli actions have been documented since a ceasefire agreement was implemented. This ceasefire was intended to conclude an extensive campaign by Israel lasting nearly 70 days against Lebanon.
