Iranian Army set to receive a fleet of 1,000 drones along with a new destroyer, according to senior commander

A senior commander in the Iranian Army has announced that the military is poised to receive a state-of-the-art destroyer along with 1,000 strategic drones in the coming days.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, serving as the deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, announced on Sunday that a new destroyer is set to be integrated into the naval forces, while a series of drones will be officially incorporated into the Army’s Drone Unit.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari announced that in the near future, Iran’s Army will be bolstered by new drones characterized by their stealth capabilities, extended operational range, precision targeting, and significant destructive power.

A spokesperson stated that the introduction of the new destroyer is expected to significantly enhance the Navy’s combat capabilities.

Admiral Sayyari announced that a substantial fleet of enhanced naval vessels and airborne units is set to be integrated into the Navy imminently.

Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari, the Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Force, recently announced the integration of advanced military equipment into the Army’s arsenal. He detailed that these new acquisitions boast enhanced maneuverability, precision targeting, and intelligent capabilities, all integrated via a network-based system designed to effectively address various threats.

Iran’s military forces, comprising the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the national Army, are persistently upgrading their military equipment and operational preparedness as per the instructions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The armed forces have pledged to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity amid threats posed by adversaries of the Iranian nation.
