Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi characterized the funeral ceremonies for the late Hezbollah leaders, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyed Hashem Safieddine, as a testament to the enduring vitality and strength of Hezbollah and the broader resistance movement.

Araqchi arrived in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Sunday morning to attend the funeral ceremonies for two prominent Hezbollah leaders.
In remarks delivered to the press at the airport, Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized that the funeral ceremony is a testament to the enduring vitality of the resistance movement and Hezbollah. He affirmed that both entities remain steadfast in their objectives, asserting that their pursuit of struggle will persist unabated.
According to a spokesperson, the resistance movement has achieved several significant victories and is optimistic about securing ultimate triumph, attributing future success to divine intervention.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has traveled to Lebanon to participate in funeral proceedings.
Lebanon is set to commemorate the burial of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed nearly five months ago in an Israeli airstrike. This solemn event marks the final farewell to the influential figure, lauded by many as a martyr, as the nation comes together to honor his memory and legacy.
The nation is anticipated to pause for several hours on Sunday as a state funeral takes place. The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 1 p.m. local time (11:00 GMT) at the Camille Chamoun Sports Stadium, located on the outskirts of Beirut.
He is set to be interred at a specially designated location in the vicinity.
Nasrallah was killed on September 27 following an Israeli air strike that targeted a bunker in the southern suburbs of Beirut, where he was meeting with commanders.
The funeral ceremony additionally pays tribute to Hashem Safieddine, who briefly assumed leadership of Hezbollah for one week following the death of Hassan Nasrallah, before he too was killed in an Israeli offensive.
He is scheduled to be laid to rest in a separate ceremony in the southern region on Monday.
