Israeli airstrikes targeting military installations in Syria, 3 people killed and more than a dozen others wounded

Israeli warplanes have launched a series of airstrikes on former Syrian military outposts located near the capital, Damascus, and in the southern Dara’a province. This marks the latest in a series of attacks aimed at the country's military infrastructure following the collapse of Bashar al-Assad's government.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has reported that three civilians were killed and over a dozen others sustained injuries late Monday following a series of airstrikes targeting military facilities in Dara’a.

A Britain-based monitoring organization reported that multiple airstrikes were directed at the 132nd Brigade in the Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhood.

Flames soared into the sky in the aftermath of the assaults, prompting an urgent response from medical personnel and firefighters who hurried to the scene to administer medical aid and safeguard those impacted by the fire.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) has reported that Israeli fighter jets maintained their presence in the skies above southern Syria subsequent to recent attacks.

Israeli fighter jets conducted an airstrike targeting the 175th Regiment in the town of Izraa, situated north of Dara’a city.

The Israeli military has announced it carried out a series of airstrikes in southern Syria, targeting what it identified as military assets associated with the former Syrian army.

In a recent operation, warplanes targeted command centers and military installations, where, as per the official statement, armaments and military vehicles had been stockpiled.

The Israeli military has stated that the deployment of military assets in southern Syria constitutes a threat to the security of Israel.

Israeli military aircraft conducted airstrikes targeting several locations near the city of al-Kiswah, roughly 13 kilometers (8 miles) south of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Israel has faced significant international condemnation following its decision to terminate the 1974 ceasefire agreement with Syria. Critics accuse the nation of taking advantage of the turmoil in Syria, which ensued after the fall of President Bashar al-Assad, to annex territory.

The United Nations has expressed strong condemnation of the persistent Israeli assaults within Syrian territory and the ongoing breaches of the buffer zone, established under the 1974 ceasefire agreement with Damascus.
