As the New Year commences, it aligns with the spiritually significant Nights of Qadr and marks the solemn anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (PBUH), the revered Commander of the Faithful. There is hopeful anticipation that the blessings from these holy nights, along with the revered presence of Imam Ali (PBUH), will extend goodwill and prosperity to our cherished citizens, our nation, and all individuals welcoming the New Year with the celebration of Nowruz.

The year 1403 in the Iranian calendar (spanning from March 20, 2024, to March 20, 2025) was marked by a series of significant events that echoed the challenges faced in 1981. The Iranian nation experienced considerable hardship and turmoil during this period. At the start of the year, the country was plunged into mourning following the assassination of its esteemed President, Ebrahim Raisi.
