Hamas has denounced the “treacherous” killing of al-Bardawil
Hamas has released an official statement confirming the death of senior political leader al-Bardawil, who, along with his wife, was killed in what the group describes as a "treacherous Zionist assassination operation" targeting their tent in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis.

Al Jazeera has reported that the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, hailed him as a “beacon of political, media, and national contributions,” and recognized him as “a symbol of honesty, resilience, and sacrifice.” The organization further stated that “he consistently upheld his responsibilities, maintained a firm stance, and served the cause diligently.”
The statement described his death as part of ongoing brutal attacks carried out by opposing forces against residents of the Gaza Strip.
A senior official from Hamas and Palestinian legislator, Salah al-Bardawil, has been reported killed following an Israeli airstrike in western Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, according to an announcement made by the Palestinian organization on Sunday.
Hamas has denounced the assassination of al-Bardawil, labeling the act as “treacherous”.
