Top General: Iran capable of striking enemy bases in any location
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri has reiterated Iran's robust military capabilities, issued a stern warning against any perceived threats, and firmly dismissed the possibility of entering negotiations concerning the nation's missile arsenals.
Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, Commander of the IRGC Navy, delivered assertive comments on Iran’s defense strategy, highlighting that any assault on the nation will prompt a resolute reaction.
Tangsiri unequivocally dismissed any potential for Iran to engage in talks regarding its missile capabilities or its backing of Resistance groups.
Iran has firmly stated that it will not engage in discussions regarding its missile program or the capacities of the Resistance Front.
In a statement, it was clarified that Iran is pursuing peaceful relations with neighboring countries and assured that Tehran does not constitute a threat to other nations in the region.
He emphasized that they consistently reach out with friendship to nations in the region, stating that as Muslims, they pose no threat to neighboring countries.
In a recent statement, Tangsiri emphasized that Iran harbors no intention of initiating conflict. However, he firmly asserted that any assault on Iranian interests or its citizens will be met with a decisive response.
“We do not pursue conflict and aim to avoid it. Nevertheless, should any adversary attempt to threaten our interests or harm our citizens, they should be aware that we will retaliate.”
In discussions about a potential blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Tangsiri emphasized that the ultimate decision rests with senior leadership, yet his forces would be tasked with executing the directive should it be issued.
The decision to close the Strait of Hormuz rests with senior officials. However, should an order be given, executing the closure falls within my duties.
Responding to the statements and threats issued by Trump, Tangsiri downplayed their importance, stating, “I am unaware of Trump’s message and have no interest in scrutinizing it. I hear his threats, witness his actions, and remain ready to counter them.”
Tangsiri asserted that Iran has the capacity to target adversary bases globally. He further emphasized that any site from which an assault on Iran is initiated will be retaliated against accordingly.
The capability to target all adversary bases, irrespective of their location, has been highlighted. In the event of an offensive being initiated against us from any geographical point, a retaliatory strike will be executed at the precise origin of the attack.
He declared that no adversary would be able to attack them and evade retribution, emphasizing that pursuit would persist even to the Gulf of Mexico if necessary.
In his concluding statements, Tangsiri emphatically stated that Iran remains resolute against any form of pressure or threats. “We will not permit Trump to impose his will upon us,” he declared.
