Great Satan American Warplanes Target Yemeni Capital with 13 Airstrikes

The United States has undertaken new military actions against Yemen in an effort to curtail the Arab nation's backing of Palestinians in Gaza.

American warplanes carried out a series of thirteen intense airstrikes targeting the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, on Sunday night.

According to Yemeni media reports, a total of eight assaults were launched on the Al-Malikah region in Sana’a, alongside five airstrikes targeting the Sarf area.

Subsequent assaults came after initial attacks that resulted in one civilian fatality and injuries to twelve individuals across two districts in Sana’a.

Reports indicate that a significant number of US-led assaults have been directed at civilian infrastructure in Yemen’s capital city.

Washington asserts that the attacks are aimed at safeguarding the freedom of navigation in the surrounding waters.

Yemen has dismissed assertions, stating that its naval activities are exclusively aimed at ships connected to Israel, with the intention of halting what it describes as the regime’s genocidal actions in Gaza.

In a continuing cycle of hostilities, the United States has launched recent strikes in response to earlier aggression from Yemen, which included targeted assaults on an American aircraft carrier situated in the Red Sea and Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, located near Tel Aviv.

An assault on Ben Gurion Airport has activated air raid sirens across multiple regions within the occupied territories.

Yemen’s military spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Sunday morning that the nation’s armed forces engaged in three military confrontations with US naval vessels, including the USS Harry S. Truman, in the preceding 24 hours.

Saree reported that the Yemeni military’s retaliatory actions included the coordinated efforts of the missile force, the air force’s drone unit, and the naval force. These operations utilized a range of domestically developed cruise missiles and combat drones.

Yemeni forces have been engaging in strikes against Israeli and American targets in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, following the initiation of the intense conflict on October 7, 2023. This action is also a reaction to perceived aggression by American and British forces in their own territory.

Operations have led to the complete closure of the Eilat port, situated to the south of the occupied territories, resulting in notable economic challenges for Israel.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared their intention to persist with their attacks until Israel ceases its ground and aerial operations in Gaza.
