US Airstrikes Target Residential Buildings and Farms in Yemeni Capital
The United States has escalated its military actions in Yemen, initiating airstrikes across various areas that have reportedly targeted residential locations and agricultural lands in and around the capital, Sana’a.

Yemeni media sources, referencing eyewitness accounts, have reported that six airstrikes struck the Bani Hushaysh district early Friday morning. The attacks resulted in considerable material damage to both public and private properties within the affected area.
Authorities have not yet reported any casualties.
U.S. military aircraft conducted a series of air raids in the Jabal Nuqum region. Three additional airstrikes targeted Faj Attan within the Ma’een district, and a farm located in the Hawri area of the Hamdan district was subjected to two assaults.
The raids resulted in significant damage to agricultural lands and crops.
The governor’s office in Sana’a reported a series of powerful explosions that shook the Yemeni capital and its surrounding regions.
The death toll from US airstrikes on the Red Sea port city of Hudaydah on Tuesday night has now climbed to 14, with an additional 15 individuals injured, according to health officials.
Officials reported that a majority of the victims were women and children, highlighting that the death toll increased as critically injured individuals succumbed to their injuries while receiving medical treatment.
On a day marked by heightened military operations, Hudaydah experienced targeted attacks, as 50 airstrikes were conducted across northern Yemen. These strikes also impacted Sana’a and the provinces of ‘Amran, Dhamar, and Ibb.
Local residents have reported that the assaults were specifically aimed at telecommunications infrastructure in the regions of ‘Amran and Ibb.
Yemeni forces have been targeting Israeli and American positions in a show of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. This comes in reaction to the conflict initiated on October 7, 2023, as well as in response to perceived American-British military actions in Yemen.
Operations have successfully halted activities at the Eilat port, located in the south of the occupied territories, resulting in considerable economic challenges for Israel.
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) declared they will persist with their offensive operations until Israel ceases its ground and air strikes in Gaza.
