Barbaric Regime Faces Global Outcry Following Assault on Gaza Hospital, Resulting in Child’s Death

An airstrike by zionist regime on Sunday targeted the al-Ahli Arab hospital, the final key medical facility delivering essential healthcare to Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in widespread international condemnation.

The two-story medical facility, referred to as both the Mamdani Hospital and the Baptist Hospital and located in Gaza City, was issued a warning just 20 minutes prior to the Israeli airstrikes that occurred early on Sunday.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that an Israeli assault led to the evacuation of numerous injured individuals and resulted in the death of an ailing Palestinian child.

The report noted that the hospital structure was consumed by smoke and flames, resulting in its complete destruction and causing the forced evacuation of patients and medical staff.

The Israeli military has asserted that it targeted a Hamas command and control center located at the hospital, an accusation dismissed by the Palestinian resistance group as a fabrication intended to rationalize what they term the regime’s “savage crime.”

In an official statement, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor (Euro-Med) has asserted that the Israeli allegations against Hamas “lack credibility without the presentation of concrete evidence.”

The Geneva-based human rights organization highlighted that the assault on Sunday appears to be a deliberate strategy aimed at undermining all avenues of survival by ignoring the established international legal safeguards intended to protect civilians in Gaza.

The raid “blatantly breaches international humanitarian law and represents an international crime meriting legal prosecution and accountability,” the statement asserted.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that the hospital is now “out of service” due to the recent Israeli attack.

In a post on platform X, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus urged the removal of the Israeli blockade on Gaza and advocated for a ceasefire, condemning the ongoing violence in the region.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the assault, labeling it a “horrific massacre and a heinous crime against civilians,” asserting that it represents a serious breach of international humanitarian law.

In a similar vein, Jordan denounced the recent raid conducted on Sunday, as well as Israel’s ongoing targeting of civilians within the Gaza Strip and the demolition of crucial infrastructure that supplies essential services to the region’s inhabitants.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, Sufian Qudah, has accused Israel of intentionally employing starvation and blockades as tactics to displace Palestinians from their territory.

Egypt has called on the international community to take swift measures to stop Israeli assaults on Gaza.

Ireland Expresses Strong Condemnation Over Israeli Offensive

Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin expressed his shock and dismay on X regarding the Israeli airstrikes on the al-Ahli Arab hospital, condemning the attacks and stating that “the indiscriminate killing and targeting of civilians must cease.”

Israel initiated a military campaign in Gaza on October 7, 2023, following a significant operation by Hamas, which was conducted in response to what they described as heightened actions against Palestinians.

Following 18 months of conflict, Israel has not met its stated goals in the blockaded region, despite causing the deaths of at least 50,944 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and injuring 116,156 individuals.
