Zionist Airstrike on Gaza School Results in 20 Palestinian Casualties, Including 7 Children
At least 20 Palestinians, among them seven children, have lost their lives and numerous others have sustained injuries following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a school repurposed as a shelter in the central Gaza Strip.

A strike has hit the Abu Hamisa school, situated east of the al-Bureij refugee camp, where displaced civilians were taking shelter.
According to accounts from witnesses and local residents, the forcefulness of the bombardment propelled the bodies of the Palestinians into the air above the school buildings.
Those wounded in the incident were swiftly transported to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah and Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat for medical treatment.
A hospital spokesperson reported a shortage of medical supplies, hindering efforts to manage the surge of injured patients.
According to medical sources, rescue and emergency teams are engaged in efforts to recover bodies trapped beneath the debris.
Since the early hours of Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of over 36 civilians throughout the embattled Palestinian region.
In the past 24 hours, medical facilities in Gaza have received 48 deceased Palestinians alongside 142 individuals who sustained injuries.
Hamas has condemned the assault on Bureij, labeling it a “heinous war crime.”
Hamas has issued a statement denouncing Israel for purportedly “targeting defenseless civilians in places of refuge and shelter.”
Hamas has declared the Bureij incident a grievous war crime, urging that leaders of the occupying forces be prosecuted as war criminals in international courts.
Hamas has urged the international community, including the United Nations, to end their silence and take immediate and effective action to halt the violence occurring in Gaza.
According to the Gaza health ministry, Israeli actions have resulted in the deaths of 52,945 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and have left 118,366 others injured in Gaza since October 2023.
Furthermore, reports indicate that at least 10,000 individuals remain unaccounted for and are feared dead beneath the debris of their residences across the besieged area.
The Israeli military operations have led to the displacement of nearly two million individuals across the Gaza region.
