Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, reported intense confrontations with Israeli forces and military vehicles in the Al-Janina neighborhood, located east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a recent announcement, Al-Qassam has reported that during its “Gates of Hell” operations, its fighters successfully targeted a group of 12 soldiers from a Zionist engineering unit in the southern Gaza Strip. The soldiers were allegedly preparing for a bombing operation inside a house near the Al-Fida’i junction in the Al-Tanour neighborhood east of Rafah city. The attack involved two anti-personnel and anti-armor shells, resulting in a substantial explosion within the house, leading to casualties and injuries among the soldiers.

“Our forces observed a helicopter conducting an evacuation landing.”

Subsequently, the Al-Qassam Brigades declared that its operatives, as part of the “Gates of Hell” operation series, successfully targeted a group of seven Zionist infantry soldiers using a high-explosive device near the Omar bin Abdul Aziz Mosque in the Tannour neighborhood, located in the eastern part of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the remains of several occupation soldiers have been observed by the fighters.”

According to local media reports, five Palestinians lost their lives, and several were injured or are still unaccounted for after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential building near Tal al-Rabi’ School in Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip.
