Iran Warns of ‘Unimaginable’ Consequences for Aggressors, Top Commander Declares

A high-ranking commander of the Iranian Army has issued a warning, stating that the Islamic Republic is prepared to deliver damage "beyond imagination" to any adversaries that engage in acts of aggression against the nation.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Deputy Chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, stated on Monday that there is an obligation to remain fully prepared against any potential threats, affirming that they are completely ready.

“He stated that any attempt to breach the territorial integrity and interests of the nation would result in consequences far exceeding expectations.”

In a report released last month, multiple officials indicated that Washington had acquired fresh intelligence pointing to increased activity by the Israeli regime. This includes the movement of air munitions and the execution of air exercises, suggesting a heightened state of military preparedness.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has issued a call to the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to swiftly denounce a disclosed scheme allegedly devised by Israel to target Iran’s nuclear sites, describing the plan as “rogue.”

The report emerged amid ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States concerning the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, which it maintains is intended for peaceful purposes.

Iran and the United States have conducted five rounds of indirect negotiations aimed at forming a new agreement to replace the 2015 nuclear deal. This effort follows the derailment of the original accord after the U.S. withdrew in 2018.

The negotiations have encountered a hurdle due to the United States’ insistence that Iran cease its uranium enrichment activities as part of any forthcoming agreement.

Iran has declared its intention to maintain its right to enrich uranium, a right provided under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Iran has achieved self-sufficiency in its military capabilities and has begun exporting defense equipment, according to recent reports.

In other parts of his statement, Sayyari highlighted that Iran has succeeded in producing weapons and ammunition domestically, despite facing international sanctions.

Today, he stated, “By leveraging our internal capabilities, we fulfill our requirements.”

A high-ranking military official highlighted that Iran manufactures over 90% of the equipment required by its armed forces internally. The official emphasized that the nation has not only achieved self-sufficiency in equipping its military but has also made strides in the export of military hardware.
