Israeli Military Confirms Iranian Strikes on Military Targets Amid 12-Day War
An Israeli military official has publicly acknowledged for the first time that Iranian air strikes targeted specific Israeli military sites in the occupied territories during the recent 12-day conflict.

An anonymous official informed Reuters on Tuesday that only “very few” Israeli military sites had been targeted, but refrained from offering specifics regarding the locations affected or detailing the extent of the damage incurred by the military infrastructure.
A government official asserted that military installations continued to operate effectively, even after being targeted in recent strikes.
Following a report by the *Telegraph* on Saturday, satellite imagery analyzed by researchers at Oregon State University indicates that Iranian missiles targeted five Israeli military facilities during last month’s 12-day conflict.
A British newspaper reported that six Iranian missiles struck various targets across the northern, central, and southern areas of the occupied territories, impacting sites such as an intelligence-gathering center and a logistics hub.
Israel’s military had not revealed these strikes earlier, owing to stringent censorship regulations.
On Sunday, a delegation of Israeli lawmakers made a visit to the site of the destroyed Weizmann Institute of Science, a prominent military-linked research facility, which was devastated by retaliatory missile strikes from Iran on the occupied territories.
The institute was one of the key locations targeted by the Iranian Armed Forces in response to the 12-day conflict initiated by Israel against the Islamic Republic, affecting regions under occupation.
On June 13, Israeli forces reportedly conducted a military operation in Iran, resulting in the deaths of several high-ranking officials, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
Iran swiftly launched a counterattack within 24 hours, deploying a barrage of missiles and drones. This was subsequently followed by a series of retaliatory actions under the operation named True Promise III.
On June 22, the United States took military action in support of Israel, targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities with airstrikes. This move has been widely criticized as a blatant breach of international law.
Iran retaliated by launching a missile strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which is recognized as the largest US military air base in West Asia, citing the action as a measure of self-defense.
The embattled Israeli government was compelled to independently agree to a ceasefire agreement on June 24.
