Asgari abducted by Mossad

A senior Iranian commander says evidence indicates that Alireza Asgari, a former Iranian deputy defense minister, has been kidnapped by the Zionist regime’s spy service and transferred to Occupied Palestinian Territories.
According to Press TV, Iran’s Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Daqiqi said on Saturday “We have a lot of evidence proving that members of the Zionist regime’s spy service (Mossad) have kidnapped Asgari from Turkey and transferred him to Occupied Palestinian Territories”.
Daqiqi made the remarks during a ceremony marking the sixth anniversary of Asgari’s abduction.
Asgari mysteriously disappeared in Turkey in 2007. He is widely believed to have been abducted and transferred to Occupied Palestinian Territories through an American military base in Turkey.
In December 2010, the Zionist website, Ynet, said that a prisoner had committed suicide in solitary confinement in Israel’s Ayalon Prison.
The Eurasia Review website claimed that a source within the “inner circle” of the Zionist regime’s War Ministry had identified the prisoner as Asgari and that his death could have been a murder and not suicide.
Following the report Iran called on the United Nations and International Committee of the Red Cross to help determine Asgari’s fate.
Daqiqi said despite Iran’s efforts, no new information has been obtained regarding the fate of former Iranian deputy defense minister.
