Islamic Iran to dispatch humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Yarmouk refugee camp

The Iranian ambassador to Syria said that the first package of humanitarian aid including blankets, food and drugs will be delivered to Jermuk refugee camp officials via Damascus International Airport to be distributed among Palestinians.
The Ambassador Mohammed Reza Sheibani, who was talking to reporters, described the conditions of the Palestinians in Jermuk Camp as ‘wretched’. The refugees have left their settlements in Jermuk after military clashes inside the camp.

“The clashing sides reportedly have reached an agreement, and after restoration of peace, the refugees have returned to their homes,” said the ambassador.

“The Palestinian refugees in the camp have a hard time. We have had an evaluation of the human needs in the camp, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Iranian Red Crescent will collect the necessities,” explained the ambassador.
