A Mother sentenced 2 years and 10 months for sending her daughter to school with hijab in Turkey

In Gaziantep a mother who was looking for his daughter’s right was sentenced to prison 2 years and 10 months. Şüheda Çevik the student of the Gaziantep Şehitkamil İMKB Primary School wanted to go to school with Islamic clothing, but the school administration did not let her enter the school in Islamic clothes. On this case Güllü Çevik- the mother of the student- demanded justice from the offical sources but she sentenced two years for demanding such kind of things. Gaziantep 18. Judiciary Court decided contrary to the mum and senteced her for two years and ten months.
