Abdullahian: Arab League Giving Syria’s Seat to Those Not Representing the Syrian People Marks End of League’s Role in Region

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, said on Tuesday that the Arab League’s act of giving Syria’s seat in it to those who don’t represent the Syrian people marks the end of the League’s role in the region.

In a statement, Abdullahian said that such acts sets a dangerous precedent in the Arab world as such a step could be taken in the future against other members countries, slamming the silence of the League members over the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.
